GFC gu12s Finish 1st and 2nd in MASC League 8v8.
Both Grasshopper FC teams finished the fall season 2008 on top of the
division claiming first and second place with a record of 8-0-0 and 7-1-0
respectively. The goal differential between GFC and the rest of the clubs
has been an impressive 74-4.
GFC displayed dominant and intelligent soccer throughout the season and
established itself as a soccer powerhouse after claiming first places in the
two previous seasons as well. With continued focus on player development,
the players found themselves playing in various positions and executing new
game strategies throughout the season. The coaches are very happy with the
individual progress in technical skills and maturity and look forward to the
winter/indoor season.
Congratulations to both teams for a terrific season. Thanks to all parents
and players for making this fall campaign a success.
