GFC Teams Plan Vancouver Trip for Aug 2010. GFC has planned another
international soccer visit for the summer of 2010. The club will travel August 6-15 (10 days/9 nights) with
several boys and girls teams to Vancouver, Canada. In cooperation with
the Vancouver Whitecaps FC (MLS expansion club for 2011), the GFC teams will
train and play matches with youth teams from the Whitecaps and other area
soccer clubs.
The visiting GFC group will also take part in a number of
leisure/sightseeing activities, including a tour of Vancouver City, and
outings to various outdoor recreation areas, such as Grouse Mountain, and
Bowen Island.
